My name is Patrick Byrne. I live in Tega Cay, South Carolina with my wife and two daughters. After 25 years working for a Big 4 bank where I held multiple marketing and communication jobs, I retired from this position to pursue my passion for writing and a career in a creative role. 

I began my writing  journey by starting a blog (reverian1776.blogspot.com), successfully publishing several articles on the social/political site Free The People (freethepeople.org/author/patrickbyrne/). A few months later, I partnered with a friend to start a local newspaper (tegacaysun.com). 

The paper has been well received, providing free local content that would otherwise be ignored while generating income through ad revenue. We recently added another local paper to our portfolio (fortmillbeacon.com). 

I started down the communication and creative path as a graduate of Winthrop University where I majored in Broadcasting.
